I'm at a boutique in a niche industry, so just unsure of what would have drawn him to my profile.

So I joined IBM in May 2022 and was on bench for 5.5 months since then.I will be allocated to a project next week. Also my probation got confirmed a week back.

I have following queries-
1)With me joining a project so late, can I expect a Variable Pay in March 2023?
2)The manager told me I have flexibility to choose 2-11 shift or work in morning as everyone is flexible here. What must I do officially to get that monthly shift allowance?

Has anyone had any experience with Water Street Partners for lateral recruiting? Reached out to me cold with a few ideas and I’ve had two follow up emails and a call with an MD at reputable banks, but it all seems very sketchy. Should I complain to a firm's HR if the interviewers laughed at my answer during an interview? Maybe it sounded scripted but it was still heartfelt and genuine: my immigration story and how that made me appreciate the rule of law. I said it soo many times during OCI's that maybe it eventually sounded robotic, but for the interviewers to laugh and one to say sarcastically "nice elevator pitch", I thought was rude. Thoughts?

I am taking some time off before starting a new position with employer B in mid January but their insurance wouldn’t be effective until 2/1.
