I'm new to the corporate world. I make 55k per year as an EA. House payment 500/mo. All insurance (not including health) $1200 in set monthly expenses, some small random medical bills & a 23k medical bill when my husband had a heart attack & we had no insurance. I max my hsa & 11% goes to my 401k each check. I have 7k in savings. Where do I start? Idk how to invest or how to even begin building wealth in my situation. Can someone please help me? I'm 48yo. Getting a very late start!

Looking for advice - thanks! I’m on H1b with June 2021 expiration date, but I have an approved 797 extension (to 2023) with premium processing. My husband is on H4 but his extension was not filed with PP so his is still pending. Both of our drivers licenses are set to expire in June 2021 and I will be able to renew it with the approved 797 but will my husband be able to renew his license with my approved 797, since his H4 extension will not be approved any time soon in the current timeline?

What are some good ways to get smart / competent at buyside financial modeling and analytics? Any courses or sites that you’d recommend? Specifically looking at GE but late stage VC/some PE materials can also work.
