I believe if they ask if you have a current offer it's because the people they are looking to hire, they need to be reliable and available at all times, otherwise, they would be a leave risk. I am against this practice, as people usually apply to more than one position, but it can happen.

At the peak of attrition it should not be the case. They ask to make sure if they have the required budget for that role.

They ask so that they won't waste their and your time if they can't match/exceed ur expectations. If they are very well in your budget interviews get scheduled

I got an offer from 
ServiceNow (The total Package is 33LPA)

Fixed - 20LPA

Variable pay - 2LPA

RSUs - $50K (vested over 4 years with 25% yearly)

PF and gratuity - 1.5LPA


Total YOE - 4.5 years (But they considered only 3 years as my experience because first 1.5 year i did an internship)

Do you think am i getting correct pay according to the market?
