Mine enjoy going on walks outside from the first week. Even if if he just fell asleep. Fresh air and some sunlight are very beneficial to everyone at every age.

I took my out 3times he just turned 3 months. 1st time he was sleeping- woke up close to home and screamed the whole way home.
2nd time took him out tummy full, awake and he screamed so came back home
3rd took him out as soon as he fell asleep, got a long walk and woke up close to home I just talked to him while speed walking home - he was ok.
Umm yeah so let’s see how next time goes

I assume they would enjoy fresh air from day 1. Took mine on walks or sat outside when home from hospital (obviously before covid)
We have a 3 week old and have been going for walks almost everyday (except snow days here in Denver...) since coming home from the hospital. He fuses a bit going into the car seat but passes out in the stroller every time.
I think the walks are for him and us both!

Do you have your own garden or deck? Our son liked going outside even before he could crawl or walk. He just enjoyed being with us when we wanted to be outside. And we would walk him around and let him touch the trees, the flowers, the grass, etc. At two months, he may enjoy laying on a blanket outside in the shade and looking at the light come through tree leaves. Maybe tummy time on the grass if it’s soft??
Immediately. Go for a stroller walk!
