My friend is working in Microsoft as a project manager. Got an offer to join make my trip as a technical program manager. Current salary is 15l (base 11.5). How much should he ask for? Microsoft MakeMyTrip

What to do when taking a short term break from work, like having a lunch break not checking work, still doesn’t help with being burnt out? I’m on a project that continually compounds with stress every damn day, it’s almost 2 years working with the client. I need to get out 😭 😭 😭

Has anyone dated a colleague then had their heart broken and now on the same project pretending to be friends

I can't help but feel disappointed about the work we're doing. Like if I was a client, I wouldn't feel great about hiring my own team. I work to improve quality but just a lowly C under time pressure

Left big 4 as a manager for a controller role (smaller company, team of 5 direct reports). Getting tired of the role and thinking now that some sort of client serving or professional services role is better suited for me. Still clueless though on what my move should be, and don't want to move to a role I don't like again.

Little sister started college has done dating, drugs, alcohol, and sex in the 1st month already.

I'm her very vanilla older brother (i.e. never done any of the above). Feeling overwhelmed with the tmi.

Anyone deal with this, how do you handle it? I like the fact she trusts me enough to talk to me freely but I have no idea how Im supposed to give her the guidance she's looking / asking for. Feeling more unqualified than as when I'm introduced as a SME to a new client.

Is there any way to leave a project? I was brought into this project saying that I would do something and ended up doing something completely different :/ i have been getting very anxious bc of this.

My client (black woman) is loud and argumentative and usually wrong about what she is arguing about, but she accuses everybody who disagrees with her of being racist. I am so embarrassed by (cont)

Can anyone link me to a good example of how to put multiple projects for one client on your portfolio?

Multiple agencies “working together” for one client. Such a mess. 🤦🏻‍♂️

Anyone have experience with a 288.2 charge? My client is a past violent felon and is now being charged with Cal PC 288.2.

Should I bill the client for work done to obtain a security clearance (e.g. filling out paperwork)?

I was asked to do a take home assignment for a product design role which the company loved. They invited me to do a final interview this week. The interview will be with different groups of people (engineers, designers, etc.) and I'll be talking to each group for 30 minutes. I wasn't told anything else about the interview.

I'm definitely preparing to discuss my take home assignment project, but is it wise or a waste of time to prepare a slide deck for my portfolio projects?

I’m staffed on a project where there is a technical skills gap. I do my best on the work side but I keep stumbling when I am speaking during meetings. Especially, when I didn’t work on the streams I am presenting. It’s really taking a toll on me, any advice?

Hey CDs... how often do you present work your creatives did while they are in on the client call and how often do you just offer support as needed?

Currently, I've been offer a 12 month contract role (50% pay increase) at Cognizant to implement/support an application for a client they support.

However, I recently found out that if I do ever get approach to be converted as a FTE, I would be an employee of Cognizant, not with the actual client.

Is this a valid statement?
