When you deploy to Johannesburg only to get ejected by your own firm due to INTERNAL visa policies.

Oh wait, that's just partners fighting over a proposal. Off to Botswana!

Well at least you might be able to get a few game drives out of the politicking.

Unreal. Your partners at your firm should consider a run for government in our congressional houses. They'd fit in perfectly there.

Lemons, meet lemonade! Happy vacay.

I recommend Lex Friedman’s podcast with Nic Carter. Nic carter is amazing. He slightly covered many FUDs against bitcoin. Especially on layered scaling and how Bitcoin can become a base protocol for banks etc. we often hear this comparison on how BTC has only 7 TPS where as Visa has 100k TPS. Well BTC is not competing with Visa in fact Visa is adopting BTC. Read about “Payment Stack” to understand more.

Does anyone have insight in working as a consultant at AMEX? How’s the work-life balance? Pay? Any benefits?

Hi everyone, I moved out of the US in Dec 2020 while I was on the 2nd year of my first H1B, which is expired in October 21. As far as I know I still can reactive my H1b and use 10 months + 3 years in total. Any one has done it in the past? Would MBB or 4 bigs hire people that way? Also do you think it’s better to apply L1 in my situation (given I meet all the L1 criteria) thanks for your input in advance😊

Culture fit / interview at Deloitte GPS:
Recently Scheduled interviews and asked Recruiter about the cultural fit part. She said they look for:
- consulting experience (of course)
- Open and willingness to work on diff. Things
- hard worker
-friendly
-helpful
-quick and willing learner
So: A) Regarding the interviews, Does this seem about right ?
B) Does this reflect the actual culture? IE: Are Deloitte colleagues friendly and helpful?

Thank you!
