After many months of things being so busy, I’ve been having a very quiet week. I’m a ~5 month associate on a relatively complex and fast paced project. Since a lot of the work takes a certain amount of expertise, I often times don’t have much to do. I’ve been reaching out to my seniors to ask for more work and I try to be proactive by doing tasks before being told, but it feels like I’m just annoying my team by always trying to find things to do. On the other hand It feels wrong to sit around and do nothing. Has anybody found themselves in a similar situation? Any advice?

Instead of causing creatives to burn out, why not just tell your client the timelines and what they're expecting are unreasonable and that we'll need an extra day or two?

Totally respect the need for delivering shit on time, but our client team is constantly overselling to client so they'll look good, without any concern for time time and effort needed we need to get the work done.
