I'm losing my mind. Worked until 4am this morning, was back at the office at 8am, and working to fix shit my client screwed up. My ex chose the perfect time to send an unsolicited email...contd
Staffer: “This is a great project in Arkansas”
Here's a video i made for fun about travel accessories https://www.instagram.com/tv/CWJAV86Ai-l/?utm_medium=copy_link
Client told me to let them know when I was interested in moving to industry. In your experience, does that mean they'll refer me, fast-track an interview, present an offer...?
How detrimental is having a poor performance on 1 project? Will it follow me? I’m 1 project into my consulting career (analyst) and have performed very poorly - haven’t understood the project, ask questions that indicate I dont know what I’m doing, and haven’t taken on any meaningful roles. For what it’s worth, the project I’m on is incredibly boring and has been extended multiple times so I’ve mentally been checked out/unmotivated. I think I just need a more excited project to pull my best out
How does alt travel work? How does the amount you're allowed to spend get determined and how does it get taxed?
In non-pandemic times, does MBB have alt-travel (instead of paying for your flight home, they can pay for someone else of your choosing to come to your client city or they pay for you to fly somewhere else for the weekend assuming equal or lesser cost)?
Got the Chase Reserve credit card a few months ago. I’m $700 short of the spend 4k in first 3 months bonus with two days left. Any ideas on what I could do other than booking an expensive flight?
Hello everyone. Is there any BA opportunity for 2 years experienced professional? I am looking forward to work as a BA. I am currently working with a service based company for a healthcare client. If anyone has any opportunity, kindly dm. Thanks
If I want to exit to a program manager role in tech, what experience would be helpful outside of core PMO/IMO project experience? Is a PMP cert necessary?
This week feels like a vacation. Hitting three projects, but no travel for any this week. Plus, Chicago has great weather. Just what I needed after the new year sprint.
Quick poll: does your firm require you to use the corporate Amex during business travel? EY = yes... missing out on the bonus points from the hotel CC's.
How do you bring up wanting to raise your rates with repeat clients? I’ve worked with one client regularly for a year at $40/hour but I’d like to bump it up to $50..
Why won’t AA let me book business class flights with points if they’re available to buy cash? (Qatar flight on AA site)
What is the scene with travel at Accenture? I have been been offered a manager role. Wondering the trade offs benefits between high pay+ travel and lower+ work life balance
A public sector client just referred to me as a “computer toucher”, what off-hand insults have you been called that stand out?
Good morning everyone!
Anyone have a referral for companies that have positions with healthcare Fraud, waste, and investigations?
Best place to buy men's slacks?
First time posting, so not sure about the rules. Is it ok to post about job openings on Fishbowl? Thanks!

Hello everyone, Happy Thursday! Does anyone have any connections to Nike by any chance? Im looking for someone to have brief coffee chat with to ask about the company culture/what they do because I was considering applying. Thanks!
Can i have my own insurance plan (HMO), but also be included in my husband’s insurance plan (HDHP), so that we can contribute more to HSA? Is the dual insurance situation going to complicate our tax?
Good Seattle neighborhoods? School is in South Lake Union but a great view of the sound (Belltown? Lower Queen Anne?) would be ideal. Is this a bad idea? Would have a car
I am working in Sales and Distribution in one of the Payments bank. (BFSI industry 😞) It’s been over 13 months. I am not enjoying the work anymore and it’s more of a sales role than marketing. Plus package is also 7 LPA.
I want to switch the industry and am more interested in the digital marketing/ pure marketing field.
I’ve done MBA - marketing. And prior to that did 1 year certificate course in Digital marketing.
How should I proceed ? Any suggestions pls.
As a job seeker, what is your number one red flag when interviewing?? Have you ever heard something or participated in a process that made it clear this opportunity was NOT for you??
I feel that I can’t untie my identity and self-worth from professional success. I feel stuck in my career and I’m not sure how to get unstuck. I’ve been working hard for the past years and I don’t feel that I’m where I should be. Where should I focus my energy? MBA to advance and expand my networks? Pivot to a new spot? Focus on finding a “less prestigious” job with more balance, and focus on a side-hustle and hobbies outside of work? Not necessarily looking for answers. Just want to hear others
I’m considering law school and like the idea of becoming a legal scholar. What are some ways to get a reality check?
What happens if I exit to another big 4? Do I still serve 2 weeks notice or am I terminated the day I convey my decision?
Agree'disagree with Germany's plan to fine social media sites over hate speech? Does it encroach on free speech?
150k base + 100k in RSUs / 4 years for a product manager role at a late stage startup. Is this fair? I have 2.5 YOE in consulting out of undergrad. I think the base is generous but RSU portion seems a bit low?
Here's my rub. Creatives that bitch about not being busy and having nothing to do when they can spend this time thinking about how to make their client's business grow.
