Does anyone know if the same 401k rules apply at EY as Accenture so they will cap the contributions coming for your check say if you hit the yearly limits in August? So if you hit the 22,500 in 23 there is no way to go over for tax issues. Thinking to frontload next year contributions if market is down. EY

I never ask them anything! It's my treat because it's a perk of the job and I want to share that with them
They pay meals
Sometimes my friendship involves not being even, I do it out of love
A1 I'm split because I usually do that. But picking up a $500 a night room on points deserves something...
In the past when we've decided on a hotel I then offer to pay in points and have them pay me a discounted part of what they were gonna pay
I just have friends pick up meals and a couple rounds of drinks.
D2 very true and I picked it. I don't think asking them to pay for the hotel makes much sense here, but having them pay for some of my activities out there would be nice.
Like if the room was $200 and we agreed on it I would pay with points and just ask them to pay me $70
Make them buy other shit
Oh damn that's an expensive room....yeah they should get dinner or pay for an excursion or something
They should pay $250, 50% of the cost is fair game.
Have them pay a bit less than 50%. You're getting benefits from using points and it restricts the hotel options so 50-50 isn't fair. Meals etc just gets messy.
Yea I usually charge them 25-30% which at a good rememption rate isn't chump change
I usually get them to buy a nice meal. After all, they are getting a nice hotel room in return.
Do y'all ask them or do they offer?
Agree with the suggestions above. I think it also depends on who picked the location. If you picked this fancy location then I don't think it's fair for you to think your friends should pay you because they wouldn't have picked such an expensive hotel if you were not gonna cover it with points.
