Was told I am first in list for promotion to manager, historically the raise has been 8-10%. Also interviewing for an internal strategy manager role. Comp range is 15-25% more. Should I leave?
On being a consultant: I didn't go to school for this. I should be in IT. I am new to this whole world. There's a co-worker of mine who is technically superior to me on a different team that always calls me out harshly/publicly whenever a mistake is made on my behalf. I'm new, c'est la vie! Anyway, I'm worried that I'm at risk of losing my job because of her. Has anyone else experienced this? How have you navigated? It only happens with this one person, I don't know how to approach the situation
How’s FCB NY?
How would one break into a UK financial services firm’s tax planning / structuring group in-house (e.g. what experience is required and are these widely advertised since 2008)?

Anyone know what the Salary range for an Operational Risk Officer at Bank of America or Wells Fargo ? Also, do you know if they do sign on bonuses? 7YOE
Don't you hate it when the the moron next to you on the flight decides to occupy the entire arm rest for the entire duration of the flight without giving a flying fuck about the person next to him.
Interviewing for SE. 1.5 weeks after my panel the manager of the hiring manager calls me directly asking if I was interested in going straight to panel for another role on his team. He puts me in touch with that hiring manager and we have a good convo, says he thinks this role is better suited for me.He says he'll get in touch with the recruiter to schedule my panel ASAP. The next day the recruiter calls me and says they've decided to go in a different direction so my panel was canceled! Cont'd
I have interviews next week for bigger brand tech companies I’d be interested in but also have an offer right now for a senior financial reporting role in HCOL that pays well and also pays OT that I need to decide by tomorrow. Not the biggest fan of financial reporting and the company is midsize ($500m revenue) and not publicly traded but is fairly reputable. Any thoughts to just reject it and wait it out or take it?
How do you ladies deal with being interrupted in meetings by male coworkers? More and more lately I've found male coworkers talking over me, saying "oh sorry to interrupt" yet continuing to talk anyways, even when I've countered with "can I finish my thought?"
I understand it's hard to not interject being in virtual meetings and such, but I regularly use the "Raise Hand" feature in an effort to be respectful and not interrupt.
If your plan was to unload arbitrary % of coins at staggered price points, but the run up happened before you decided what that price point is, what % and at what price would you pull the trigger? Playing with house money at this point. Will never fully cash out.
Please don’t accept a lower salary or rate from an agency because of where you’re based.
The award-winning ad you make in a low-cost of living city should cost your agency the same as if you were in SF/NYC/LA. Make them pay us for our work, don’t give them a discount for something so completely unrelated to the job as where we choose to live.

I’m sure all the conservatives who were outraged by Bill Clinton’s ‘tarmac meeting’ will be equally upset about Trump ranting to acting AG Whitaker about SDNY
