Can you jump to a senior role after 1.5 years in big 4 audit?

I am not hired for senior accountant roles because they say they say I am over qualified. Manager level roles I am told I am under qualified.

I’ve been feeling really lonely this week and it’s starting to take a toll on me. I don’t want to fall into a deep depression. I just finished a time consuming project so I was pretty busy for most of COVID. Pre COVID I’d spend most of my free time with church activities, however that’s not possible nowadays. It looks like we won’t be returning to traveling at least in the next 6 months, over a year in my project. Sick of being in a tiny apartment in NYC. Lease is ending March 15th. Thinking of looking for a possible place (1BR) preferably close to the beach to spend at least the summer that’s not insanely far from NYC where I can return without it being cross country. Any suggestions of where to look? Good idea?
