I don't understand how those two things are related.
Wonder if my brethren in the federal space can read between the lines. In a nutshell: we do everything for this client. All the way down to scheduling and opening conf. lines.
And that's why government contracting is akin to staff augmentation
But what does that have to do with people being on the bench?
The team on the bench are the folks who have been carrying out much of the work. And the clients are scurrying about, realizing just how dependent they are on their contract support.
Let me help you out- bc if the consultants are on the bench guess who is doing the scheduling and opening the conference lines? Not the consultants...
Ok I think I got it. That's ridiculous if a client doesn't know how to set up a conference call or open their own bridge.
I have seen experienced staff not know how to schedule meetings in outlook, in hindsight I should not be posting this shit on here
