When you're at a recruiting event for a school you didn't go to...the look in the MBA 1s eyes when they realize small talk just got a lot harder

All these threads about designations...here’s a new one: For those of you that are MBA’s, is it behind your name? Why or why not?

MBB manager level folks (especially laterals) - how are your hours these days? What’re the daily start / end times?

How hard is it to study for BEC while working full time? Will there be a busy season from October to December in Audit?

What background/skills do you need to qualify for "data scientist" roles as opposed to ones as a "data analyst?" I have a PhD in a data-heavy social science and am an advanced R user, but I worry that my background isnt sufficiently technical to target data scientist positions. If not, is it a matter of building out my Python skills?

Some southeast markets offered 2 rounds of retention bonuses in fall. The 2nd round was supposed to be paid out in June. Chances from 1-10 that will actually happen ? with 1 being the least likely

I work for a BB (private side) & actively manage my investment accts, and require sign-offs from compliance & direct VP on all buy/sell orders. Compliance signs off automatically, but VP continually declines out of fear of compliance (for possibly being in the wrong). I understand taking caution, but I can never get her authorization for single names bc of this, I have no private info on them nor are they in my industry. Has anyone dealt w this before? And what are some good approaches to take?

My project has no direct flights from my city. The earliest flight on Mon. is at 5am -to make this I would have to be awake at 3am is it reasonable to request Sun. night travel or a later Mon. Flight?
