When you're expected to drive a project in a practice you know nothing about using technology you've never heard of

I joined EPAM Systems on 25th April and have given four Project interviews in which I have failed three and fourth interview's verdict is yet to come. I feel but tensed and wonder how this is going to affect my career. Anyone gone through this process? I am currently on bench and learning new skills but I feel like everything is going so slowly.

Having some issues finding the best process for content delivery to our client.
