When you're expecting a call from a recruiter, is it better to answer and say "Hi, this is [my name]" or "Hi [recruiter name]"?

How long did it take to hear back after your Amazon loop? It’s been a little less than a week since I completed mine.

How long does it take to hear back from the hiring recruiter/manager after completing post interview questionnaires? From what I’ve been told I should expect a offer letter soon but I understand nothing is promised until I get it on paper lol. The recruiter I’ve been working with has been very unresponsive. I have another job offer(small company) but I much rather work with Citi. Any tips on how to proceed? Just wait it out? Reach out to the recruiters manager (don’t like this option)?

I’ve been ghosted so many times the past few years, when I get contacted by recruiters nowadays I basically assume I’ll not hear back from them. So far I’ve been 99.9% right. 🤷‍♂️

How is previous work experience viewed during mba recruiting? Hard to see how MBB could assign the same value to a candidate with 3y vs 7y of experience, although everyone gets the same comp and title.

Which summer internship would be most attractive to MBB for FT recruiting - LEK, EYP or tech?
Currently a first year MBA at a target school. I did not land a summer internship with MBB (messed up during case interview) and want to try again in the fall. I’m optimistic about my chances with LEK and EYP for the summer but now also considering tech strategy roles. PreMBA experience was in boutique, niche consulting.

Assuming all things equal (pay, progression):

Will 10 years of McKinsey or BCG (1 Firm throughout that 10 years) better or will 5 years each at both McK and BCG be better?

For (1) exit strategy and (2) branding 10 years later. Note: I’m now in the mid point

I’m curious… at MBBs, what would you guess is the % of folks who leave (due to WLB, etc.) and get “asked to leave”? I imagine it’s different after the EM/PL level but curious to see what it’s like on the other side. (Difference with Big 4 is that you have a bunch of folks who just well… stick around at their level well past their due date.)
