When you’re leaving consulting and going through work experience verification, are you supposed to give the HR’s number or project supervisors’ contacts? How to protect client confidentiality?

The thing I struggle with the most on a project is being able to quickly understand the business process of the clients across different industries. Any tips or resources I can use to improve that?

My FIL is near retirement but looking for a job. He used to work in sales, and became pretty senior in a family owned company before it folded. He’s been going from job to job, and I know he wants a chance. Any thoughts of some of the non-client facing roles where folks might be open to his background?

Hi fishes good morning. I joiner CapG on 26th may 2021 as a Associate consultant. Till this date i got appraisal as well as hike also. But this is not sufficient for a 5 year experience Data Engineer. So i resigned on 12 th june 2022. My current CTC is 9 lpa and i asked them 15lpa for retain. Everything is fine from my Capgemini manager and client manager. Only i am expecting HR Call and that will happen next week as my manager said. Any suggestion what will be next CTC ? Is it better to leave Deloitte India and join Ey gds?
For long term prospective, which one should I go ahead with?

Just started a new job as an LMHC 7 weeks ago. It’s fee for service. Was told during the interview I’d have a full caseload always and have more stable clients. However, I’ve been getting at least 1 no show/cancel per day and found out that I don’t get paid for it unless the client pays. Now with these no show / late cancels, I have less clients and no new intakes are being put in my schedule even though I’ve alerted the intake dept several times. Is it bad I want to leave already?

Working on a deal that is unbelievably messy. Client barely responds and when they do, they ask us to do stuff outside scope. Other side is providing crap first drafts of everything. We and the OS are capped on fees so all the lawyers are basically doing this pro bono and it’s clear the partner and OS doesn’t care anymore. Help.
