On the bench and anxious! Does everyone have a project lined up immediately after a project ends even if that project weren't the top choice?
Bench has been deep lately for strategy analysts. Word is there’s talks going on with a silicon valley firm… Upvote if you’ve heard the same.
There's always two types of consultants: those who love bench time and those who hate it
I'm just sick of being on those huge projects that last forever and hard to roll off from.
I wish every Sunday could feel like this. When you've just rolled off a project and in the pleasant shade of some beach time
Has anyone also struggled to get on a project as a new hire? Doing all I can (I think) networking, volunteering, speaking to staffing manager etc but can't seem to get off the bench.
When you're on the bench so long that you start considering driving for Uber on the downtime. On a serious note, has anyone done this?
I have the option of staying on a tech project that I don't like for 4 months, or roll off early and try to get on an interesting strategy project that starts in a month. Should I take the risk?
Is there anything sadder than finding out your roll off date, which is supposed to be in 2 weeks, got pushed back by months? 😩💔
On the bench for the first time this year. It feels weird not to be packing for a week of travel right now.
First time on the bench since my onboarding. Perfect timing too. I'll have a drink or 10 for all you working the holidays
New experienced C hire from Deloitte with 4 years and been on the bench since October. Is that normal for Acn?
My former PM actually told me he rolled off my team because I wouldn't reschedule my PTO. I had this PTO scheduled since June. Another person took 3 weeks of PTO and she was retained. Unethical?
On the bench = stop shaving
Am I the only one who feels like being on the bench during 'slow' Thanksgiving/Christmas Season makes you feel like don't have a job. Don't even want to see my chargeability.
Anyone else inspired by Cory Booker’s speech today?
Side by side Blantons tasting today!
I’m an Account person freelancing for a company who only wants me to bill active hours of work, but wants me to be accessible to answer internal and external requests throughout the day. What’s your POV on this and how would you bill this and approach the conversation?
How to approach renegotiation of salary after initially accepting the offer? Is it fine to re-negotiate with a counteroffer during the notice period? If so, when is the best time to approach the company for re-negotiation?
Elon turns Republican and all of a sudden dirt starts coming out from five years ago. Hate to see it.
Does anyone know of offices that are actually going into an office? My team is old and has no interest in ever going back but I’m too young for it…looking to make a move
My heart just melted having watched my non-english speaking dad get giddy about being able to communicate with my husband using Google translate ☺ ❤ With that being said, would any Interaction Designer here be willing to take on a mentee? I want to learn from you on what makes a great interaction designer because more people deserve moments like this.
Feel free to bombard me with laughing emojis 😂, but if you worked really really late on a solution, do you negotiate to come in later the next day?
Hello, Anyone know the current salary range for G140 ? Position: Senior Software Developer Experience: 7.5 Years Tech: Frontend Developer - Angular
What are the cons of Columbia/Duke Early Action rounds (assuming early timing of GMAT and essays is not a problem)? My understanding is that EA rounds should be easier than R1 but you have to commit ~5k that are lost if you then choose another school. Is this right? (For context: planning to apply to 3 M7, Haas and Duke in R1 with good GMAT and MBB experience)
Does anyone use rosehip oil?

1.5 years of h1b left. Deloitte says no GC. Should I day 1 CPT? What is the worse that can happen?
Our group had 3 seniors leave during busy season and I know of 2 more that plan on leaving this summer. I also started interviewing but can’t help but feel an overwhelming sense of guilt for leaving our staff/new seniors knowing next busy season will be absolutely brutal for them all. Help me feel better about leaving!
Recently received pay bump to stay with my bank by leveraging 2 outside offers. I have been offered a VP2 role (currently VP1) with another group within the bank. More work, but really interesting role doing the same work but for different clients. Hiring manager essentially said it would be a lateral move with no pay bump because I am now making market. Would you still ask for standard 10% promotion bump given I am moving from VP1 to VP2 role & taking on more work?
Hi Guys. I'm planning to learn PowerBi online. Can anyone suggest me a suitable website?
