Curious about thoughts on on discount points (I think I’ve already read every article on Google). I am refinancing my personal residence (future rental) as well as a rental property. The mortgage brokers discourage me from spending a ton on points (rolled in, not up front). In some cases, it’s a 16 year break even. I get that’s a very long time to break even, but I have no intention of getting rid of the properties and doubt rates will drop much below current. Max breakeven point for you?

Has anyone successfully negotiated a title? I was looking for Senior Manager positions but applied for some Mgr positions too. I’m up for promo next year at my current job as well. The current industry offer meets my comp expectation but planning to see if they would bring me in as a senior manager. There isn’t a set hierarchy for the team as of right now as they are building the team and I’d be reporting to a senior executive. Any talking points/tips that might help me negotiate?

I’m a noob and can use some help looking for rewards flights. I have some AA miles and AmEx points. I am looking for business class flights to Europe for summer vacation (June or July 2023). I am flexible with locations and dates, have searched for Italy, Spain, France, and Netherlands. On AA, one round trip ticket costs about 450K miles! Hi, I joined in dec end and my client engagement had given me gold standard in 3 and almost always in other feedback points.

However my counsellor seems not to be impressed he had given usually in 2 points and rest as almost always.

He had unreal expectations from me to work on internal team proejct for atleast 1-1.5 hrs a day. Which i was not able to but contributed around 9-10 hrs daily on client engagement.

Silly question here. Each of us (Wife and me) has enough AA miles to pay for our own upcoming domestic flight, but we don't have enough miles to pay for the little one's ticket.
