I've worked at the same engineering firm for 4 years. I'm currently making $161k with only a $750 bonus, but excellent vacation (4 weeks, cash out anytime, rolls over indefinitely), 45 hours a week. I have an interview with a recruiter at Guidehouse this week for a Technical Project Manager role. It seems to be focused in the government space and requires a security clearance. What sort of salary and benefits could I expect for this sort of role at Guidehouse?
Should i join John Deere, Pune or Institutional Shareholder Services(ISS Governance), Mumbai? The CTC difference between both is approx. 1.5 Lakhs.
CTC is 1.5 Lakhs more in Institutional Shareholder Services.
Both are for Software Developer role. Please suggest with some reason if possible! Thanks 🙂John Deere Institutional Shareholder Services

CM / PM here. It depends. Where in the US are you?
Interesting. Are you at a MEP firm or a GC or something else? What’s your title? Field engineer sounds like an assistant superintendent to me … but at 2 years, you can start interviewing for an assistant PM role which in California pays between $75-100k - closer to the bottom with 2 year.
Working in Construction, civil background! Getting 85k a year on 1.5 YOE at this point. I don’t know about the US market but I think you can definitely do better! Actually my company has a branch in the US. Check it out & apply there! The social culture is great. I can give you a referral as they’re hiring!
There are plenty of construction firms that will pay you 80k and give you better benefits than that. Weird that socialist Seattle doesn’t force their employers to offer a minimum level of benefits.
I’m waiting on the bonuses to make my decision because a lot of people says usually bonuses make up for that gap…
No harm in applying regardless to see what offers you can collect. You can always turn them all down. And remember, it’s never a potential employers business what you currently make!
