Has anyone moved from Accenture Federal to CGI Federal at Manager/Senior Manager level? Looking at Strategy/Organizational Change Management roles, and curious to know if you feel that compensation and benefits were worth it when measured against your actual experience once you started working with CGI. (I understand that some of it depends on the account you're on, the team you have, etc., just trying to decide if it's worth considering.) Thanks!

I live in Springfield but alternately work in person in McLean and downtown. Used to be a ~50 minute door to door commute to downtown, 30-40 to McLean.
Zero interest in living in the city again, did that for a few years when I first moved to this area and that was more than enough for me.
Live in Mt Vernon Triangle - very easy to get to Rosslyn from here. Maybe twenty to twenty five minutes (if that) from neighborhood to our office there. Love the location, proximity to parts of town, love the diversity of the city. Personally, NOVA is fine if you want a family and there’s enough to do but I can’t stand suburbs and cost of housing doesn’t justify the lack of character in parts of town that aren’t Cherrydale, Alexandria etc.
Mt Vernon Triangle is a great neighborhood

Depends - before switching companies, my commute was a 15 minute metro / 40 minute walk. Love DC, no logical reason to live anywhere else if your client is in the city.

You don't need to live downtown to live in downtown DC, I'd actually recommend against it. I just meant the city is a better place than coming on from MD or VA - Capitol Hill is basically a suburb
