What is considered a strong offer in terms of total comp for non-tech Program Management IC5/L5 for Facebook (Meta) , AWS, and Google Low/Medium COL? Would also help if u can provide expected base/bonus/rsu/sign on breakdown Current TC: 190K 6YOE Google Facebook (Meta)

Received offer from AWS Bangalore. Please help me decide.
My interview experience was really wierd. I only had two technical rounds and the rest 2 rounds were LP rounds where as in most cases I have seen there are atleast 3-4 coding rounds. Could this be a red flag ? (e.g. they are hiring to fire me) Also how is the work culture in AWS india. I will be joining the commerce platform team. Amazon Amazon Web Services

Terminal 5 men’s room. Might be a little longer with traffic
One hour with or without traffic?
That’s a pretty decent budget. You might find good apartments in Santa Monica, West Hollywood, Beverly to north of LAX, Hermosa Beach, Redondo Beach, LongBeach downtown to south of LAX in LA County. For OC you can look at Fullerton or Anaheim Downtowns, both great areas with tons of restaurants and well positioned to get to LAX, LGB and SNA so that if (when) you get bored of LAX you can start flying out of SNA. If you don’t mind being closer to SNA instead, then Irvine, Newport Beach, Laguna Beach are all fantastic .
Hawthorne is terrible, don't go there. Could go to Torrance if you are more interested in affordable than cool
First define affordable. Are you looking at 1000 for 1bed, 1500 for one bed or 2000 for one bed as an affordable benchmark? Greater LA area and OC are very diverse with options in each of those categories
I see PwC 1 flies American
See the Airlines and destinations heading here— https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Wayne_Airport. I think SNA is the second-best connected airport (domestically) in the Southland, BUR, ONT, and LGB being nowhere close. And the difference from LAX is night and day—it’s so much nicer
This is a good joke ... U can't.
^^ Important distinction. Given without, I’d say southeast Orange County (Ladera Ranch for example)
I lived in Hermosa Beach when I started consulting. 15 minutes to LAX, don't have to get on 405. Not the most affordable but if you are single or don't have kids you will love it.
Hermosa is full. Go to Hawthorne
Long Beach/Torrance/DTLA
Up to 2500 for 1BR. Thank you everyone
I’d say Santa Monica, Hermosa Beach, or Manhattan Beach for a $2,500/1 bedroom
Thank you D1. This is a very helpful starting point for someone who knows nothing about the LA market. Do you have good experiences getting direct flights out of SNA to most major cities? That’s been the driving reason to be closer to LAX for me
You will definitely get direct flights to HUB airports from SNA eg Dallas, Houston, Phoenix, Chicago, Atlanta, Newark, almost all big west coast cities
Link provided by EY1 is spot on
