@OP, Personal loans should generally be the last form of debt anyone take. Please review your situation and ensure you have gone through all other options before deciding to go ahead with the Personal loan!

Have you had a prior experience with them? Curious why you say that. Maybe I should look into other options
If 5-10k can you apply for one of the credit cards that have 0 intro APR?
Ok, if you need cash then don’t use credit cards because cash advance rates are probably even worse than credit card (non intro) rates

401K
BCG1: do you by any chance knows whether the cash you borrow leave your 401k (to you) when you take a loan from your 401k, or does the cash stay in your plan as collateral?

DCU has some of the lowest rates. I like them, they are international folk friendly.

I'll check them out. Thanks so much!!

Under $40k? Prosper.

nice!! Yep like 5-10k Awesome thanks!
LendingClub is another option. Just know that even with perfect credit your effective APR will be ~10% (after you account for origination fees). An easier option may be to get a Chase Slate with 0% promo APR for 15-18 months with 0 fees.

I'll look into that. Thanks so much for letting me know!
If you have a personal amex card(blue) , you can get it in clicks with least interest rate.

Unfortunately I don't :/ but good to know for future reference!
If it is for auto purchase, try chase, approved for 10K
amex card gives it very easily .I took 30k recently ..just few online steps..but you need to be holding amex card for at least 6 months
Got 20k from Amex at 5.99 and 20k from HSBC at 4.99 interest rate DCU might be a good option not sure if you need to have an account with them
