So I was cross offered by McKinsey and BCG for an MBA summer internship. Would I be crazy to just auto select McKinsey over BCG due to prestige/vault ranking? Not sure if they are really all that different in prestige. I’m going to the SF offices for reference. People say it’s good to fail and make mistakes because that is how you learn. However why as kids was it so difficult to learn from mistakes you made even after a parent would yell and punish you for certain mistakes? How do we maximize the learning potential from mistakes we make as adults?
