The firm asked me and another senior associate to take the first year out to lunch on her first day. Sure no prob. Then they asked me to submit the invoice and they only reimburse for the first year lunch and not mine or the other senior associate. It was $75 between all of us and I only got like $20 back. Sometimes I subcontract other freelancers, and I have a request - invoice for your work promptly. If it’s more than 30 days since the work was accepted, that’s just sloppy and rude.

You hire 10 copywriters and 10 junior artists from the Philippines and create a small agency right.

Then you rent a space for them to all work in, yea? Like a dorm. Nice beds and like a beer allowance. And your productive output is quite high man. Like you can take on at least 5 projects per copywriter. That's 50 projects x $150/hr/project.

Then by the end of the year, you've got a team of at the very least 30. And your productive output has increased quite a bit.
