Has anyone successfully negotiated extra vacation days when getting an offer? Im happy for the most part with the salary but I am losing 10 vacations days. Health benefits are also not even near as good as my current job.

How you handle different savings goals in a relationship? I’ve been with my partner for about a year now, so the discussion about finances tends to come up more. She makes less than me, but I max 401k/Roth ira so there’s not a huge gap in net pay (I’m still higher 10-15k) . I am earning 85k/month now. Thinking to purchase a land of around 15L, not just for investment but to build our own house on it in future.

Though I can somehow manage it without taking a land loan. But I was wondering if I can take some to avail tax benefits.

When considering other offers, how do you determine what health insurance is worth? For example, my current insurance is a low deductible family plan that includes vision and dental, with an FSA option. It is the first plan we have been on that I didn't have to pay for anything out of pocket and struggled to use my FSA. I know other companies could not match that coverage. Do I increase my desired base salary to compensate?
