This other guy didn't have his confirmation number and was covering the kiosk for 15 mins looking for his confirmation instead of going to an agent.

I saw a guy packing and repacking a luggage to transfer weight to carry on, literally for like 25 minutes. Finally a staff came asked if he needed help.

EY1 - there was this one guy using the check in as his personal weight machine. Checking each bag and moving it out of the way to have his wife transfer weight around.

Unfortunately (some) of us frequent fliers have a tendency to be jerks, too - except year around!!

No tolerance for stupidity and this is amateur hour (days/weeks).

Kind of aggravated with the example male leadership is setting right now with regard to parenting at CV. At least 5 men in leadership have had new babies in the last month and it seems like some have taken no time off or only the bare minimum. We have 12 weeks and should be encouraged to use it! If leadership isn’t taking advantage of their own policy, what does that say to the rest of the staff? In my perspective, this is likely further contributing to the gender disparity in CV leadership

Do you think smaller public accounting firms would pay someone with manager/director big 4 experience to come in as an outside coach/consultant to coach and mentor their seniors and associates? Maybe if the pay structure was conditional to only if the consultant could improve retention rates or some other metric? Thanks!
