For those filed AOS in Oct (mine was 10/26), did anyone receive biometric letter or EAD/AP, or basically anything beyond the receipt notices? I got my receipt notices by end of Dec but haven’t heard anything since then, so just wonder when is the reasonable expectation for the following steps. I can’t help but feel stuck in my career. I’m a licensed attorney in another country, but been working as a law clerk in a firm for about a year now. I was hoping to take the NY bar in February but the foreign law graduate restrictions won’t allow. Now, I have to wait till July! I can’t help but feel this way, and as much as I love my company, I’m beginning to dislike the role. Maybe it’s an ‘ego’ thing? Anyone ever been in this position? How did you get over it?
