Hello! I am currently a registered travel nurse but have been working on pursuing a career in Pharmaceutical sales for a while now. I have recently applied to some positions with Astrazeneca and Eli Lily company and I would be so grateful if anyone could provide me with a referral for these positions. I would be happy to send my resume and discuss why I feel I would make a great addition to these teams! Thank you!

Time for a classic after a not so busy week
I had a phone screening with a recruiter from Facebook (Meta) but I let it slip that I was in the final stages of interviewing at Amazon, though she continued to ask me about my experience. I thought it was a great convo but I got a standard email a couple days later that they weren’t moving forward with me. The only reason I could think of was what I said about interviewing at Amazon. Is that normal that they would not be interested in me if I’m close to getting an offer elsewhere?

How many days do you have? Are you opposed to a cruise? I think certain lines like Disney are much nicer than others, but that can still be an easier way to go international but have an easier time with little ones.
I was about to suggest Niagara Falls, but realized you’re in NY and the falls are also in Buffalo. And that’s not very international.
I have friends who took their 1.5 year old to Hawaii last year and they loved it. They did a mix of nature activities, staying at an all inclusive resort, exploring the city, etc. They did fly from the west coast, so definitely a shorter flight than what you would have.
20+ hours on a flight one way will probably be very rough with a baby and toddler, IMO. Regarding the Australia suggestion.
Australia, where it’s summer then. Koalas and kangaroos for kids and probably Australian Open.

Flying to Australia from NYC with a 6-month old sounds miserable
We are currently looking into this, in Europe we are looking at Italy or Mallorca but could be cold in January.
The Carribean, perhaps Barbados.
Or pop over to Florida and do Disney world.
If you can survive the flight to Greece they absolutely love kids but cannot guarantee great weather in January. My parents own a home there and go frequently.
Latin America could be a good shout actually.
Yeah Disney is a bit manic
Definitely no cruise, and Australia’s a bit tough with the length of the flight. We’ll likely leave on a Weds & come back 1.5 weeks later on the weekend.
Here are all the destinations from NYC in January that take less than 10 hours https://www.google.com/travel/explore?tfs=CBwQAxoeag0IAhIJL20vMDJfMjg2EgoyMDIyLTEwLTI1YNgEGh4SCjIwMjItMTAtMjlyDQgCEgkvbS8wMl8yODZg2ARwAoIBAggAQAFIAZgBAbIBBBgBIAE&tfu=GiwaKAoSCfwqgSmI2E5AESGeTTCRNEXAEhIJF3qB5uyaRsAREM8mmEhpXcAgAw
My own suggestion: Mexico (CDMX / Cancun / Oaxaca), or any Caribbean Island incl. Costa Rica
Costa Rica or SE Asia

What about Mexico, Guatemala or Costa Rica? Central America is a relatively short flight. There are also a mix of outdoorsy activities, history, and beaches depending on which country/region you pick.
