So what have you learned after working side-by-side with your spouse for a week?

Trying to be really understanding about coworkers with no children feeling stressed during the holiday season, but it's hard not to ask if they'd prefer to go home to my sick kid, frustrated spouse and dirty house instead of their empty apartment where they have a flat screen TV and a beer waiting. How do you keep sane?

Want some feedback for Employees Assistant Program (EAP) by Capgemini which provides facilities to connect with Therapist.
Actually I am going through some tough times(going through a divorce), want to connect to EAP to discuss my mental health issues.
I had connected once and they say that the conversations are strictly confidential.
Just wanted to know do they really keeps stuff confidential or can they inform my Manager regarding the personal conversations.

My whole sleep schedule is fucked up thanks to my husband the teacher, who can sleep in and “give out assignments” for like an hour

I’ve had to step away from social media for my own mental sanity as I have a major issue with comparing myself to peers when it comes to life stages. (Single female, 34, never married, no male prospects, dog mom.) As a result, I feel like I’m doing a disservice to myself professionally as social media is a HUGE communication channel. I don’t know if coming out is something I should do or not anymore. My girlfriend and I want to get married in the next couple of years but thats not something I want to keep secret. It hurts me that I feel like I have to do that, but I don’t want to risk losing my job. I know they can’t fire me for being in a wlw relationship but they don’t have to give a reason. I don’t want the backlash of the community either since the area I teach in is really rural. Just sad I guess.

How often do you and your SO text/talk during the days you’re not together? My bf has a pretty busy job so we don’t really communicate during the day, but when it gets to be like 8pm and I haven’t heard from him at all it bothers me. Is that wrong? I know this isn’t a marriage therapy bowl, but my husband has a really terrible tendency of saying things like “you’re being really mean” and completely shutting down during a disagreement when i objectively am not being mean, just truthful or vocal about how i feel about something. It’s a really convenient argument for him because it enables him to either be the victim and me the villian, or forces me to concede my stance and not reach a true resolution. Any tips on dealing with the irrational?

My parents FA set up an ira for me while I was in college. I funded the 5500 max for 2 years. Now I have my own Roth IRA and fund that.
