Quick question for my DTS travelers: if I don’t wanna take part of a flight back from a school that I’m attending, can I just push the flight in United without any repercussions? E.g., flying back from COS to DEN to IAH on 5/20 but I wanna stay in DEN … can I just push the DEN-IAH segment in United and not get on the plane then? Will that land me in trouble? Can I even mess with DTS flights on the United app?

Are high end safaris worth it in migration season? I'm looking for my honeymoon and they look amazing, but really really expensive ($2k/night). Two nights there and that's the cost of a normal trip!

Long time Marriott traveler looking to switch to Hyatt (or at least add Hyatt). Does anyone know if you need to stay at a minimum category or type of hotel with Hyatt to earn nights? Also, do special codes like government or corporate discount codes still earn nights? I feel like the answer is most likely yes since it’s not like Hyatt operates on a different planet than Marriott. Are 4 days enough to do this trip Toronto - Montreal - Quebec City - Toronto. Husband and I are taking Thursday & Friday off + weekend. I’m a bit skeptical driving in unpredictable December weather. The ones who done this trip please suggest safety + entertainment + if it’s worth it in winter. Or should we just go local and do something like horseshoe resort and winter wonderland. We’ve already rented the car for those days, will have to drop it back Sunday 10 AM.

Currently working with a large federal contractor (think along the lines of Leidos, Del, Booz). What are some growing pains I should expect working for a small to medium sized boutique firm focusing on cyber and cloud? For me it is a great opportunity to build some presales skills I don't have on my resume. But I'm worried about exit opps because of a lack of brand recognition. Also will be compensated well but the role is supported by overhead.

Any here have experiences to share from RAND? I believe they are an FFRDC, another think tank, but with a different focus than Aerospace/JPL.
