I had technical and behavioral interview today at Deloitte Canada for visual analytics and information design position.
In technical round there was a case study to create visual data sheet and present it to technical round.

It went good they asked couple of questions and showed that at some point it lacks of continuity and rest thing is good. I have been told we will discuss and send details to HR and you will get update within few days. What are the chances that they can hire me ?

I'm looking for a UX mentor in Conversational Interfaces

1, I just started working in chatbots for enterprise and I want to learn more about conversation design. I think I eventually want to do voice UX most likely for consumer.

Is company project always better than personal project in an interview? I have 15- 20 minute to present 1 UX project and Idk which one I should pick.
Project 1: App design. Personal project. More “typical” UX project.
Project 2: Non-traditional UX (Not an app or website). Company project. Very little design variations but shows research and teamwork.
I assume that interviewers will see both case studies before the interview. Should I just ask them which one they want OR show my company project?

Hi- I got two raises last year (one with promotion last December). I believe I am underpaid- partly for my own lack of speaking up and negotiating and not making the best career moves.

With current company 3+ years. People are great. Work could be better. 16 YOE. 72k for medcomms. Was told cost of living raise will be in my first 2023 paycheck. But like- I still have 6 months of living to do until then.

Recruiters telling me I should be at least 100k. What would you do?

I just switched to an agency but I don’t think I like it, I have worked my whole life in house and the differences to me are huge. Not sure if it’s only this agency, but I feel totally alone. I have given some projects but I don’t think there is collaboration at all and the communication sucks, everyone is too busy on their on projects or tasks.

What do you read to feel inspired? Would love recommendations of blogs, newsletters, podcasts. I’m listening to How I Build This but would love to diversify!
