McKinsey & Company Has Mckinsey met BA headcount quota for the year/did they freeze hiring? I interviewed and got to last round last year, and applied again with a referral two months ago but haven’t heard anything from recruiting. Last year I heard back within 1 month of referral drop. I would’ve thought with my 1 more year of experience I should be able to get an interview easily.🥲 McKinsey & Company

Often times we feel like we're always fighting from behind, but here to tell you don't have to be. There are checks and balances and subtle changes you can put in place to help mitigate falling behind and making mistakes. Thus building confidence and ease, and reducing the cognitive load that happens while you're stressing about the mistakes that may or may not be there.
This is just one example bucket of many: As a manager you can lean on your team for help without telling them you have ADHD.
- Asking for help on specific tasks, like proofing/checking numbers "because everyone needs a second pair of eyes," or asking "can you take a second look at this? I've been to close to it and just want to make sure I'm not missing anything."
- It's a win/win because it shows 1) You value them 2) It's ok to ask for help. 3) mistakes do happen. It's about asking "what can you do to mitigate the risk"
I understand exactly how you feel. I felt this way before I was put on medication. The stress of feeling like I was going to mess something up was just too much for me. I was constantly on edge and constantly felt like i was drowning in work. Things have been so much better since I got put on meds
