It's really hard and ultimately not advised to go against your hub. Either convert or move

United. I live in a hub city and United has a better international network. Plus aiming for that million miler in 7-10 years lol

I live in Philadelphia. You can choose any airline you’d like, as long as it’s AA.

I’m so sorry.
Fly the major operator from your hub airport. Not even a discussion.
Southwest - cheapest flights and most friendly staff in my experience
Agreed! Picked southwest in college, haven't looked back. The reps have always been so helpful.

What city? Newark, Chicago - probably could pivot to a different airline. Houston, Denver, DC, you’re probably stuck.

If DC you have national (ie AA) as an alternative
Delta since I live near a hub. The $5 wifi charge from my recent flight was credited back.
Whichever of American, Delta, or United has the most market share at your home airport. (US-based). Unless you’re in Los Angeles, like myself, which has equal market share, then you have to take a stab at your most likely route.

I live in Chicago (ORD), so I predominantly fly United.
American Airlines and United dominate ORD.
I live in an American hub CLT. And I still only stay loyal to Delta regardless.
