Which companies did you go to after FAANG?

I still have about 2 weeks unused vacation days for this year. If I put in my one month notice, am I still able to use those vacation days or should they pay me back for unused vacation days?

I've decided to leave big law for what I think is a great in-house opportunity, but my firm is trying to convince me to stay. This of course has me second guessing my decision to move in-house, but I'm trying to focus on my long-term career goals and why I started job searching to begin with. Curious if others experienced this when giving notice and if so, how you handled it?

For anyone debating whether to go in house, I recently went in house, and the mental health benefit of not having to worry about billable hours is completely worth the switch. It's great not having to worry about catching up on hours when I'm out for a doctor's appointment, vacation, etc. It's more of a mental health relief than I guessed it would be.

Hi folks, I am a 41 year old and my cycle has been more or less normal. I had a missed cycle last month and now have been bleeding for over 2 weeks. It’s consistent flow not heavy but has clots. I am not and was not pregnant . Not sexually active for over an year. I have a history of cysts and fibroids but never bled for so long. I have seen a doc who wants to do an ultrasound. I am healthy others wise, just wana hear experiences from other women who may have experienced this

Thinking about bringing in other solo attorneys to my practice. I'm thinking about charging them 25% of whatever they make. In exchange, they would get all the clients that come in (which is a ton), legal assistant, receptionist, free rent, and free office expenses. They basically would be running a solo practice with zero overhead.

I work for a tech company with 75% of the staff located in Ukraine. Most of the marketing activities have been placed on hold due to funding is now being used to relocate my colleagues in danger. Thankfully most of the staff is safe. All but 1 of my projects are on hold until further notice. I do not mean for this post to be insensitive or selfish but I’m worried for my job. My question is, should I start looking for another job?

Is it me or does it seem like companies are hiring but not really hiring? For example, you wasted all of that time going through the interview process, completed it, and then they’re putting the position on hold or you had a great interview, they tell you had a great interview, the interviews like you, you had a great answers but they didn’t select you due to “business needs/growth/direction of the company.”
