Now I got the following mail : Your application for the job TL INTG & PROC AUTO, Hyderabad at Mindtree is found to be more aligned for the post of SE INTG & PROC AUTO, Hyderabad. What does it mean? Having a tough time getting a Product Manager interview. I have 3.5 YOE in technology implementations for a startup (my client). First 2.5 years were spent building my clients software, most recent year has been as a project manager for them. A lot of what I’ve done in last year overlaps ProdM responsibilities but I recognize it is a change. Am I reaching too much for a PM role? I was working in a pure production support project from last 2.5 years, somehow i lied on my experience and studied on my own and got some offer for developer role .
