Like the Boston culture, but really hate the cold weather and need to move. Where should I move to? Consider culture, cost of living, career opportunities, tax, etc.
Thinking about moving to a big city with the following preferences. I am thinking about Dallas, philly, or Chicago. What’s your experience living in those cities? Is there any other city I am missing? 1. Growing economy and population 2. Great food scene and things to do as a young professional 3. Relative LCOL can’t afford housing in NY, SoCal, etc. 4. Diversity of culture especially a bigger Chinese presence
Thoughts on this: Laying edges is steeped in white supremacy culture and the erasure of natural Black hair.

Cautious to keep dumping money into s&p since so much I put in was during aggressive growth of last 1.5 yrs. Currently $400k in 401k (all equities, mostly US), $130k in brokerage (85% us equities, 15% intl), about to put $20k (me plus partner) in iBonds. Have $175k cash (recent bonus mostly). Hey everyone - I am 28 with 5YOE (2 in consulting 3 in industry) and am working towards a part time MBA at a T15 program. My current comp is 130k which I am quite happy with (having started at 52). I see posts here stating folks comp in consulting to be around 300-500k. How does one get to those numbers? Are you all in MBB or T2 firms and how did you get to that position? I was hoping to get to those numbers by 35 or 40, and was thinking of a plan to get there.

$SPTN - can I get a sanity check on this small company. Works in food distribution, consistently growing revenues every year. Steady operating cash flow increases 4 years. Took lots of debt in 2019 to buy more facilities. Each facility is becoming more profitable. Seems like entire industry is low multiples mostly due to fear of ALDI/AMZN. ok cool but AMZN took warrants with $SPTN for 10% of company in oct 2020. Looks like AMZN success = their success. Covid was great for grocers
