Zynga’s business model is centered on preying on people with addictive personalities and the poor, much like the gambling/lottery or tobacco industries. Fitbit is a health-oriented company, so I’d say them
Fitbit is dead. Gaming is exploding in emerging markets like India, Zynga is huge with their online poker offerings and read their consumer analytics work, they are very good.
Id go to zynga for your exact comment of fitbit turning into blackberry. What role would you have at each company?
Apple Watch it the new fitbit, go Zynga
Zynga is ran by a maniac and the culture is super toxic.
Staying out of too many details but I did some code work for them in Dallas a few years ago and management was super toxic. We actually fired them as a client (I was not at EY.)
I’d go Fitbit simply because their products jive with my preferred active lifestyle better. Sitting around and gaming ain’t my thing.
Personally you are right, but professionally I think it’s opposite.
Fitbit is an electronic product & can go south, Blackberry is an example.

Fitbit is dying
