Got promoted to SC (legacy OTS). Worth trying to go to MBB at entry level?

Anyone made an exit to mid market - big Healthcare PE firm after working at ZS? Is it better to move to MBB and then make the switch or is it possible to do so from ZS directly?

Among MBB, who has the more mature digital offering and supporting ecosystem to do delivery? (E.g. bcg seems to have a lot of devs and data scientists whereas bain adapt seems smallish. McK?)

Why in the world are there so many south Asian male MBB partners but relatively less east Asian/south Asian female and East Asian male partners?

Why are MBB so particular about B Schools? 😕 Inspite of having a referral from a partner in Bain and relevant experience, wasn't even given an interview opportunity. The only reason I can think of is my B School (just below IIM Indore and along the lines of NITIE, MDI, IIM Shillong) Could there be any other reasons?

I'm currently in talk of joining ZS Associates, with ~5 YoE from industry (healthcare/life science) and 7+ YoE in total.

It sounds like from the recruiter that it's more likely to come in as an AC first, not a C unless proven otherwise during the interviews. Should I even consider this opportunity since it might be a 'step-down' from my current position, and might not look as good in my resume?

Focus more on how people perceive your work and being confident in your work rather than being a perfectionist at everything in consulting (no one notices if you're at your desk 24/7 or get every number right). You'll get much higher reviews

I have seen several consultants go on medical leave (3 to 4 weeks) lately. What type of medical issues have you heard/seen amongst single consultants in their 20s and 30s ?

How important is leadership update, straight talk, office hours, town hall update, practice update, monthly call, practice call/emails? Do you attend or read those emails?
