Anyone know what kind of experience or certifications I should be aiming to get if I'm trying to break into a pentest role? I received an offer from KPMG recently and filled out the office transfer form. Got a call with the news and a “congrats” email from the recruiter. I saw that my status for the original advisory position that wasn’t location based changed to “not under consideration,” however. What does this mean? I’m pretty confused lol
"The problem is that white people see racism as conscious hate, when racism is bigger than that. Racism is a complex system of social and political levers and pulleys set up generations ago to continue working on the behalf of whites at other people's expense, whether whites know/like it or not. Racism is an insidious cultural disease. It is so insidious that it doesn't care if you are a white person who likes black people;...

My wife and I are considering planning a trip to Tulum, Mexico for late July. She’s slightly reserved in asking her employer (she works at a dental practice) if it’s okay to take time off with the concern her employer may feel off-put by the request. I personally hate the thought of someone else restricting my ability to make my own decisions, but also want to be contieous of others concerns as well. I feel at some point we all will be in a similar situation - to where we want to go do...
