Does any Big 4 FDD team have work?
Hi Fishers, I want to pivot my career into management consultant. I am currently working as a Market research analyst with 1 YOE. Can someone please suggest me how or where should I start to build my career in management consulting at Big 4.
Also, please suggest entry level jobs that I will be eligible for with skills in Strategy, primary and secondary research, and competitor analysis.
Thanks in advance!

If you haven’t yet, getting help for anxiety is totally smart and common these days. I did it and it’s definitely helping me.
Would you mind sharing what helped you? I have insane anxiety as well
internal firm services
non-client facing. support staff. literally everything from hr to marketing to printing and supplies to national office risk management. the point is there is no particular busy season to those work the same way there is a cyclical nature to client service tax or audit engagements.
to be clear. i was kinda joking since i knew it wasn’t what you probably meant.
Advisory - you’ll earn way more as well
Advisory or transaction advisory

I’m in FSO NYC and my busy season is pretty light (i.e I think I work less than advisory peeps except 2 weeks before filing)
But I’m the extremely rare case, so in general avoid financial services
Internal services < Advisory < Audit <Tax.
There are exceptions within each service line, but this is the order from least to most busy season for most groups.
Like HR, learning and development etc. I'm not too sure on the specifics, but as a finance accounting major you wouldn't work in those roles at least initially
If you go into advisory or tax, don’t work in any deals based group - the deadline stress won’t help your anxiety
Advisory or CBS as people suggested probably least likely to have busy season per se. I was in TAS for three years, not a busy season but definitely fluctuations in workload, hours etc depending on how many deals, pursuits and client engagements you had going on at once.
