Which firm would you choose between Kearney, EY-Parthenon or Alvarez and Marsal and why? Would appreciate guidance ahead of applying.

Specifically says “would appreciate guidance before applying” and this is your guidance. Now I’ve really seen it all

Kearney. Good coverage in types of project, Global footprint with a couple strongholds in Europe and MEA & easy mobility btwn offices Great client base within Industrials and tech particularly Amazingly talented colleagues

Never done procurement work... on pure strategy and product development right now.

Kearney for brand if you want to exit into corporate or A&M for pay and entrepreneurship. Would personally most likely only go to A&M PEPI or restructuring though

like

Kearney over EY-P but A&M is a totally different type of firm. Where they play, A&M is joint top with Alix (above McK).

like

EYP over the other two

Lolz, the wonderful thing about the Internet is that you can tell someone they're wrong/detract/say you disagree without backing it up and explaining it, and make it sound like you're right, when really, there is no way to prove anything you're saying is correct. Like you are here :) EYP been hiring mostly from McK/BCG and not Kearney from my understanding...conclusively, both EYP and Kearney are both great options. The pro-Kearney bias in this post was ridiculous, so I figured I'd say something.

Whichever pays more. They’re all the same reallyyy

Thanks All for this. Very helpful thoughts.

All very different firms so pick depending on what work you want to do. EY-P for private equity work (CDDs) and education strategy. ATK for traditional strategy, operations and supply chain. A&M depending on the group, but as mentioned by others some of the groups are compensated very well.

I’m taking the GMAT in September and would like to include my score on my applications to other firms. Based on what I’m getting in practice, it would significantly improve my resume. However, I heard many firms, particularly MBB, have hiring windows in August, so applying later would hurt my chances. Is this true, and if so, when should I apply? Is it possible to apply earlier and then fill in the recruiter on my GMAT score while I’m in the process?

Can someone please tell me if there is a chance that they will send me offer letter or any further processing and if this is normal for Accenture to take time after having HR round?

How's Edelman NY? Getting hit up for Health which I've never done. It'll entail moving from advertising to PR/earned creative as they call it, and the Health category. Didn't sound like hard sell pharma, quite a bit of branded video content. Figured I'll ask if anything's changed, if it's even worth ... considering.

I dont know if lack of PTO is a good reason to back out, is it?
