Charles schwab if you want to do it yourself. Morgan Stanley if you want to pay someone a lot to do it for you.

Schwab because you can open a free checking account too and have no fees on any atm forever.

What should this mean from a lifestyle perspective? Keep it the same (but then why work), step/up a notch (but once you increase you cant go back), or make one off splurges as excess cash accumulates? How do others things about it?
