So the general consensus is if you’re asked to do 8+ hours of work on a file, have it reflected on your schedule... I have a bunch of clean up for my last file because of review notes left on my last day/client gave more support on last day. But I’m already fully booked on another file all of next week - what should I do?

Work in the payer/provider space -- approached by a good friend who works at Takeda to jump over. no pharmaceutical experience except in the PBM space.

Doable? Strategy and project delivery experience along with commercial. Or would the learning curve in the industry be too much ?

A junior associate has taken leave 3 times in the past 2 weeks and I’m working w him on an IPO (just the 2 of us). I missed a deadline for producing the due diligence reports because I had minimal help. Shoddy first drafts were provided and he was super patronising - basically thought he was doing me a favour since I was leading the transaction and was client facing. I remember when I first started working on my thesis project. My adviser asked me to get some funding for it, but he didn't give me any advice about how to do that. He just told me that if I wanted money for my project, I'd have to go through some kind of committee process and submit an application for funding from them. Sure enough, after weeks of writing applications and waiting around for responses from the committee members (who were always too busy), I eventually got approved for funding!

I discovered yesterday when reviewing my docket (which is more than 50 cases) that a client had an SOL about 2 weeks ago. I have my own paralegal and have had countless conversations about the only thing I absolutely rely on her for is calendaring and making sure I don’t miss a deadline. This is a big one to miss. I texted her and she deflected and blamed me (she said “you said you didn’t want to file suit on this claim”). Thoughts? (Couple further facts below)

8+ yoe,Project mgmt Domain - I have been working on different roles in PM domain ( Pm, PMO, Business mgmt etc) and recently switched to Scrum master. I dont really feel comfortable in this role - the team is on its 40th sprint and they know all what to do,i on the other hand feel demotivated since there is not a lot to in the entire day - i want to work and learn and i am not sure if the role is such or there is some problem w me?
