Capgemini I joined sometime back at D1 level , I do technical work most of time like coding, dev, testing etc.
I have worked a lot in my 14 years and still have required skills needed for the work. I don't have energy to slog any further. Moreover I get anxiety when I see junior level people doing same work as me and earning more or same.
I feel cannot sit longer hrs due to back issues and other health issues and family commitments.
Can I change to management side without risking my job .
I have an offer from Walmart but I'm also interviewing at Meta. I'm midway through the Meta process but there's still a long way to go and I don't want to rush through it unprepared. Both are for a Data Scientist position. Any suggestions on how to deal with a situation like this? Walmart Facebook (Meta)

I've worked at the same engineering firm for 4 years. I'm currently making $161k with only a $750 bonus, but excellent vacation (4 weeks, cash out anytime, rolls over indefinitely), 45 hours a week. I have an interview with a recruiter at Guidehouse this week for a Technical Project Manager role. It seems to be focused in the government space and requires a security clearance. What sort of salary and benefits could I expect for this sort of role at Guidehouse?

I wouldn’t let prestige factor into your decision. Where can you learn the most and gain the best experiences relevant to starting your career?

Big 4 carries more weight to people looking for names, by a pretty wide margin. Doesn’t mean the work itself is better, just the way things are.

Great thank you!
Big 4 has a few pretty big accounting scandals, but can't match Nestle

Honestly, why do people care so much about the “prestigious” names? The job/work, team, and culture are really what will drive your day-to-day satisfaction. Take the job where you feel most comfortable and will be most rewarding and motivating to you, not the brand name.
I would go for the big 4 because it's a little more prestigious, but go with what you're intuition is telling you.
Totally different jobs! You can always start out in consulting and transition to CPG a few years later
