How are piercings and tattoos viewed in the MBB world? Have you seen any consultants with non orthodox piercings or tattoOs (is a male with ear studs or a sleeve)
Do most Wharton students looking to join MBB aim for the NYC offices? Wondering whether it’s comparatively less competitive to shoot for the Philly offices since it’s seen as less desirable of a location
Started my first week at a new consulting firm but received an offer from an MBB on my 2nd day. How do I go about informing them that I will be accepting another offer? What's considered best practice in this situation.
Started in a Tier 3 consulting firm half a year ago. Never saw it realistical for me to work in MBB because of the workload etc. (had the assumption that wlb is a clear priority for me).
Love it in the current company. Interesting projects, great culture, super nice colleagues. But something in MBB (I guess salary and prestige) feels lucrative. Also feels like I am not ”at the top”. Now I’m thinking whether I should try to jump into MBB.
Anyone with similar situation/feelings or experience?
MBB folks, anybody dare to share something you don't like about your firm or would like to change? Maybe a Bad experience you've had? Thanks!
T-10 MBA with total ~4.5 YOE, 1.5 of which is at MBB (post MBA). What should I ask Amazon (during recruiter screening) as TC for non-tech senior PM. They mentioned that they want a breakup by base, bonus and stocks.
Will get a master’s degree from an ivy league school soon and had 5 years experience with big 4 advisory before grad school. Chances to get in to MBB?
Is it worth it for me to apply to MBB? 2 years in, worked at Accenture->KPMG. Or would it be better if I applied post-MBA
How does a “Specialist” role at Bain compare to other generalist roles at Bain? (Specifically for “commercial excellence” practice doing go to market strategy and B2B sales strategy work)
Would a role like this be considered pure strategy MBB style work, with similar pay, responsibilities, length of projects, progression? Or is it more technical with a different career progression than more generalist roles?
Just look at these BCG-Gamestop terms.. This is exactly the partner shenanigans that bothered me when I was working at MBB.
Estimated profit improvements as your payment basis? And then "overachieving" to find even more 😅 Boston Consulting Group GameStop
Trying to understand the differences between all the consulting companies. What is each company known for? I hear MBB, Big 4, Tier 2/3/etc but besides prestige is there any difference between all of these?
Any insight into IBB consulting? They are a media boutique that was acquired by Accenture so NOT mbb
MBB fish, I've heard about the excellent benefits offered by MBB, especially BCG and Mckinsey. Wondering if this also applies to elective/cosmetic procedures and orthodontics? Boston consulting group McKinsey Bain & company
Can either attend a top 3 business school or join MBB. What would you do given the chance to do either?
What is the secret of people who always get job offers/head hunters knocking their door?
How does the resigning process work at pwc?
So I’m new to this bowl how does it work exactly? I’m not trying to disrespect this bowl, but it seems like members are asking for referrals from companies or offering referrals to members they don’t know. Wouldn’t that be bad if the person is lying about their experience? Does the person doing the referral give some sort of test or interview beforehand? I’m definitely not trying to knock this bowl since I’m new to front end development and could use a referral, I just don’t understand
For those of you who got a promotion internally, how long did it take to see a salary increase? Did you have to ask or was it just given to you?
