USI Insurance brokerage and consulting - thoughts? A recruiter reached out to me via linked in and I was wondering if anyone had any opinions on this company. They seem to have decent reviews on Glassdoor but I was hoping to get more insight into workload and comp. Thanks in advance! USI

Had all access pre-covid and have been just doing equinox+ since so my perspective may be 2 years old BUT to M2’s point, they all have different vibes. I liked the trainers and classes offered at Culver and MDR the most though Culver is newer but small while MDR is a bit dated but has what you need. Westwood is nice because it has a pool and I loved their yoga studio. Weho is for spotting celebrities and I found the vibe a bit pretentious but I did like the class trainers there. Same for Hollywood minus the celeb spotting. Miracle Mile had good classes and I liked the space. Santa Monica also had good classes and I liked the ability to work out on the rooftop when it wasn’t too hot out. Encino was also really nice, had a pool too. I went to Sports Club once for an alumni event, waaay more old people than the others but wow was it bougie.
TLDR all nice in their own way but some more dated/pretentious than others.
Yeah like I wouldn’t say any equinox I’ve been to is bad. I haven’t walked into any and been like “ugh I’m never coming here again”. They just have different vibes but none necessarily bad (unless the influencer vibe annoys you, then I’d probs avoid WeHo). You won’t find kids that young, though if you go to DTLA and Westwood, you’ll have a lot of USC and UCLA alumni/students but that’s a bit older and they know how to behave.
I’ve only been to a few locations: Century City, Miracle Mile and Hollywood. They all had different vibes. I frequent Miracle Mile because it’s a couple of blocks from my apartment, but I kind of like the Hollywood location because of the run lab and pool. When I used to frequent the Century City location, I would use the laundry valet and sun deck.
