Which is the best MBA college for Tech professionals?

Currently a MS in Finance candidate. Got into the MBA program with a finance concentration at the same school - Johns Hopkins. Don’t care about target , non -target (already happy with my role, industry, firm). What’s more valuable in terms of longer term prospects between the two degrees? Any thoughts or guidance?

Hi all, European living in the Netherlands here. I’ve been doubting whether an MBA would be of any benefit for me, hopefully you could help me in this respect. Below my situation:

LLM (JD) in Tax Law / 8+YoE @ Deloitte / Currently working at a mega US Multinational/ Want to climb to upper management level (two/three levels below C-suite) in the coming 5 years.

MBA would perhaps be good for my personal experience but worry that i could spend my time better at performing at my job.

Best HR certification for junior level employee (Coordinator, ~3 years experience)? PHR or SHRM-CP and why?

I have joined a course for Data Science but it will take 7 months for that course to get completed. I have 4 YOE in finance domain and want to switch my career to Data Analyst. Not sure how I can fast forward this process as I want switch my job asap due to inappropriate work culture but I want a breakthrough into Data Analyst position. Will MS Power Bi certification help me land a job within next 2 months?

So, a recruiter gave me feedback that my lack SPHR or SHRM-SCP is causing my resume to be knock out by AI and human recruiters despite my position and work history in Multinationals and being in Technology. They suggested that we put SPHR ( Lapsed). I let it lapse in 2017. What is your opinion? Plus if I were to take another certification - should I take SPHR or SHRM-SCP?

Does it matter which school you get your MBA from? I've been working for 5 years and want to go back and get my MBA. I've found an online program from two schools, one is higher ranked than the other but also more expensive, shorter time frame, and less data analytics concentration than the other. Does it really matter all that much WHERE I get the MBA from? I got my bachelors from the #5 public school if that helps.

YOE: 11.5 Tech: QA Automation with Selenium-Java, BDD, API automation, Mobile Automation - Perfecto cloud, Appium All the 11 years I am with automation only. Is it possible for me to learn new technology and switch. Recently acquired AWS cloud practitioner certification which is of no use to me now as they are asking for exp. I wanted to move to devops role. But without experience no one is giving opportunity and they are considering my profile as QA only 😒

Thoughts on the value of online cybersecurity certificate programs from Stanford, UMUC, Harvard, etc vs just normal certs like CISSP?

I’m in the recruitment process with a Foreign company. I’ve interviewed with Regional GM, Hiring Manager, and Regional HR Director. Was sent skill tests, and completed them (It was my understanding that skill tests where last step in process); and now HR Director from HQ wants an interview. Is this a good sign? Need advice. I was a transaction risk investigator at amazon. Resigned few months back. Since it became tough for me to handle baby and work. Now I'm planning to work again but I want to do more. Need advice on what courses to pursue for good packages. (Have had good catch on SQL) i have had just 2 years experience.
