I interviewed for Data Analyst role at EY, it went well and the job sounds great, but I'm a bit hesitant to leave PwC because I really like the firm and I'm just 8 months in my job as an associate at a subgroup of ITS that has some focus on technology and analytics but it's mostly tax compliance.
I do want to transition to data analytics but I'm not sure if it's a good idea to go to another big 4, or maybe just look for a position in industry.
Any advice or similar experience?
So I just recently passed my CPA exams and I’m now looking for new opportunities. I’m hoping to work at a big 4 firm in tax and possibly connect with anyone working there right now. Please reach out to me, I would look forward to connecting and learning more about potential opportunities. Thanks!EY PwC Deloitte KPMG

Well according to the PCAOB inspection reports, the ranking of best to worst auditors Big4 is as follow:
1. Deloitte
2. PwC
3. EY
.
.
.
.
4. KPMG
@Deloitte1 well first thing would be to read the original question. It was about the best methodology not best auditors.
PwC > EY > KPMG > Deloitte
Clearly biased
NOT PwC. We overtest everything.
Yeah investing some time into “haphazardly” picking shit that might work is strongly recommended.
