PWC 1 - you do realize your audit tool is/was based on lotus notes?
Does KPMG have computers yet?
PwC is superior in all aspects except employee retention and we may even be the best at that too !
PwC is far behind in the use of CAATs. I’ve seen Deloitte and KPMG workpapers. Deloitte is def better at deploying technologies in an audit. KPMG is better at making shitty workpapers.
All PwCs tech tools that they tout to employees as being the next big thing are just existing, commercially available software that PwC made three different shades of brown, then slapped a logo on it
Was based on Lotus Notes. First rolled out before the merger in 1998. What year did KPMG stop using paperwork papers?
I have no idea as I started after that transition. My point was that PWC 1 said everything was superior which I would like to dispute. Lastly, trust me, KPMG's technology sometimes feels like we are back in the Stone Age. In other words, Director 1 chill tfo. 😀
EY data analytics. Significantly cuts down on expense testing samples and lets you analyze an entire year’s journal entries with a click of a button!
KPMG1 the Lotus Notes based system was last used in 2009.
Blue Frame independent survey of the B4 on who at the B4 has best technology:
Deloitte’s answer: deloitte
EY’s answer: EY
PWC’s answer: EY
KPMG’s answer: EY
I saw the survey report with my own eyes. All B4 received it.
EY is definitely superior in innovation in audit. 2-3 years ahead of other Big 4 with our new analytics approach in Audit. Other service lines is a different story..
