I saw a talk from the head of the QA/QE team at Walmart a few years back. They’re doing some really interesting things and seem to have a great culture.

That said depends where you are in your career too. I think the opportunities to learn as a small fish in a big pond are great. But if you’re later stage, you may be more interested in influencing where your school of fish is headed.

I would have loved to have worked there (based on what I heard in the talk) when I was new to the field. I feel like it’s the right environment to learn all the right things.

Good luck!

Need referrals.Looking for IT project manager/ Scrum Master and Business Analyst roles in Canada.

I'm frustrated and don't know where to go with this.

I was recently in consideration for a promotion but got passed over. I was told , in confidence, that I viewed as less serious about the role because I teleworked while colleagues were getting back to the office. That was viewed by senior leaders as being less serious about the job.

I mean, I have a job but I feel I will never advance if I use the benefits offered. Is this the same everywhere? Do teleworking lawyers ever get promoted?
